When I moved to Champaign I already had paid
my rent on time for five or ten years. I also had
a PhD in physics, and 1 year down as a salaryman
at a science company.

That wasn't good enough for the land lord, so my
mom had to co-sign my lease. Humiliating, no?

When I re-signed I was treated like a 36yo adult,
but honestly, I think Ramshaw lost reputation in
their inability to negotiate with common sense
at the outset.

Because they use a special piece of plastic?

Maybe I will move to Urbana someday, or maybe
just move from Illinois after passing the quals?

Cheers,

It snowed this week, and even though Ramshaw thinks they
have fixed the leak in the ceiling, the ceiling is still leaking.

Ramshaw sent me a renewel notice informing me that my
rent will be $50 more next year even though the property
is obviously devaluing over time due to maintenance issues
--the leaking ceiling is not the only one.

The US government is on their side, not on mine. Ramshaw
is doing a lot of mad real estate, so they have a better credit
score than I do.

If I end up like Turing, make sure this information goes into
the case report, whichever private investigator gets assigned
to it. That after the rental company failed to fix the leak, they
asked me to pay $50 more per month.

Illinois is really having some bad financial problems right now
and my ultimate solution will probably be to move out of the
state and to get the hell away from the crime in Chicago.

Because, when I woke up today, and I have to ask myself do
I want to go to another work meeting or should I just kill myself
now, the roof was leaking, and I don't know if the beetles are
going to survive pupation, and I am being asked to pay more
when my rent is already to high, all my friends have already
disappeared or killed thimselfs, so why shouldn't I do the same?

Somebody has to survive to keep complaining about the
government's willingness to partner with business and
religion for the future of chemical castration.
