Hi Anyone and Everyone ~ I'm having trouble with the news cycle,
and actively exploring a meditation practice that seems to be
working most of the time.

Last night my meditation practice apparently failed, and I decided
to make some potentially offensive off-the-cuff comments.

Do not let my delusional inability to cope with reality stop you
from chanting the daimoku, if that's what you want to do.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who have been
mistreated by the system.

Now please let me disappear

I'll have to remember to mention that one to myself
next time I trade out "don't know mind" for "I think
therefore I am a devotee of Kwan Um".

Did you see the chiefs game? It got me thinking how
some games are divided not only in teams, but also
into defense and offense.

Both defenses had a strong showing in the first half,
and despite Travis Kelce's sidelines blow up, it looked
like coaching won the game.

While Taylor Swift is enjoying her working vacation in
Australia, it would be nice if Kelce could talk to Biden
about the Assange case, and win the game by getting
the charges dropped and releasing Assange to Australian
custody.

However, I'm not sure Chiefs Kingdom cares at all about
international politics, and right now they may be more
concerned with shootings incidents and ghost guns.

The only good news seems to be the google groups
shutdown happening this week.

None of the readers here even got to see any of your
raving mad notebooks, which would have been much
more interesting than people (or bots?) cut and pasting
racist memes from 4 chan.

Also, perhaps the "win the game" joke was too insensitive, what
with Navalny now dead in a Russian prison, and the zeitgeist
anxiety that a similar death will happen to Julian Assange in
a USA prison.

The guy who's threatening to destroy a bunch of art is not likely
to get the politician's attention. He should see if he can get a hold
of the Lombardi trophy and threaten to melt it down and then
re-cast it as something blatantly offensive (I have some ideas
about that, but will omit them here).
