A gohonzon is a term for a venerated object in Japanese Buddhism, usually a scroll or a statue1 The term is often used in Nichiren Buddhism to refer to the calligraphic mandala that represents the essence of the Lotus Sutra12

The 10 world gohonzons are the 10 types of gohonzons that Nichiren inscribed for his disciples and followers, based on their spiritual capacities and conditions3 They are also called the 10 honorable titles of the gohonzon, and they are:

If you can't sober-up long enough to remove footnote numbers
at least include the footnotes so you don't look quite so
imbecillic.
