Okay, just let me open with a joke here, sorry:

Nobody invited me to the Belmarsh Tribunal, and I couldn't
make it on my own, due to onset delirium and sleep pains
from the cause of living alone for many years now.



I watched the re-run once or twice on youtube, and even
tried to take a few notes, but it was too painful.





Wow, it wasn't easy to stay present for all of that, and
especially the parts about war crimes and solitary.




To my hearing, the main theme was about keeping the timeline
straight and looking at it from the 2010 perspective, before any
of the other drama happened in 2016 or Vault 7.




The speakers danced around Julian's "random sample Algorithm",
but perhaps not entirely when the "Hacker" charge is mentioned
as by far the most damning could presumably apply.


This is and isn't true, and is definitely easy to misconstrue to a
non-technical audience, who isn't following the entire story very
closely.


What wasn't mentioned by any speaker in Today's symposium,
has been the curious meteoric rise of cryptocurrency, a range of
purely-digital tenders, which are now contending with USD in
gas stations, on the television, and maybe even at the supermarket.

For example, the ticker shows the present bitcoin exchange rate
at 1BTC to every $40,000 USD. As we head into 2024, the market
is bullish about an industry being seen as cutting off its fat.

But the price of bitcoin has not always been as high. In fact, the full
time graph shows that the price of Bitcoin has never been reliably
over $20,000 USD until the start of the Biden administration.





What was the price of 1BTC in 28 June 2011, when wikileaks announced
its persecution by creditors in the USA?

Around the same time, Forbes reported that wikileaks had started banking
at a rate of $10.00 used to every 1BTC, as a response to the blockade.



Fastforward, skip the Y2k14 bug, the entire 2106 poetry fiasco, and
Vault 7, all to 2024--Potentially, instead of being the year of the dragon,
it will be the year of judicial renditions.

What's completely insane, other than judicial rendition, other than charging
people for crimes they didn't commit, other than holding a grudge, is that
freedom fighter Julian Assage gets the Espionage Act, while fraudster and
swindler Do Kwon does not.

Notice there is no outcry about potentially penalizing Do Kwon for financial
crimes that allegedly wiped out $100s of billions of value USD, at a time
when that money is desperately needed for humanitarian efforts.

Do Kwon is a member, with Sam Bankman-Freid, of a different generation of
crime--who could very well say that they were inspired by Assange, but that
would obviously be the next lie in their continued schemes of deception.

Maybe through his interest in Cypherpunk bullshit, Julian Assange at one
point or another considered using cryptocurrency as a weapon of war.
No such consideration seems near to the mission that wikileaks fulfilled
in revealing to the public these horrors of war and begging for peace.

But it sounds like the banking blockade put a lot of stress on wikileaks,
which then caused them to find a "survival of the fittest" adaptation.

Having a reaction to a vital threat is a lot different, than looking up at
the f--- stars and the celestial spies and thinking: "geeze, I could make
a lot of money doing that. I should learn how to deceive people and
steal their money."

So I applaud the USA for at least trying to stop the undermining of the
USD [the currency what I get paid in, and what I pay my taxes in].

However, I cannot applaud the USA for even worse-than-usual persecution
of someone who is aging, and could certainly be instructed to retire
peacefully with his family, and try to never compute anything again.

I am also demanding freedom for Julian Assange, and if that is not
possible, demanding lesser charges than will be put to Do Kwon,
(also not a United States citizen, but somehow subject to our laws?).

While I'm sitting here with my selfish sick wretched ego delusion,
there's one more demand that I would like to make: Let Julian's
words come true: "If wars can be started by lies, peace can be
started by truth."

We must use the truth, not the justice system, to start a movement
of peace for the entire world.

Though difficult to watch, the panel at Democracy Now was a refreshing
reminder of what used to pass for on-the-edge reporting. Thanks again!
